The Egyptian Coalition conducts a A Field Study on "The obstacles which the students are facing and prevent them from merging with their normal peers"2014

With the preoccupation of the educational, political and societal thought with raising and educating the young people in the different education stages; this matter that has the priority in the educational and political work agenda in Egypt; but there are some marginalized groups, on the top of them the disabled persons, and many of them were actually deprived from education because of social and economic reasons, and aren't provided with the sufficient educational services in order to merge them inside the society.

Thus the field study which the Egyptian Coalition for Education has made in Aswan, highlighted the most important obstacles which the students are facing  and prevent them from merging with their normal peers, including activating and monitoring the medical examination for the primary stage to measure the disability ratio among the children with special needs; intensifying the special training courses for the unqualified teachers to deal with the disabled students; providing, preparing and monitoring the special merging classes of the disabled students; facilitating the merging curricula; and providing psychologist and talkie specialist for the merging classes.
