With
the preoccupation of the educational, political and societal thought with
raising and educating the young people in the different education stages; this
matter that has the priority in the educational and political work agenda in
Egypt; but there are some marginalized groups, on the top of them the disabled
persons, and many of them were actually deprived from education because of
social and economic reasons, and aren't provided with the sufficient
educational services in order to merge them inside the society.
Thus
the field study which the Egyptian Coalition for Education has made in Aswan,
highlighted the most important obstacles which the students are facing and prevent them from merging with their
normal peers, including activating and monitoring the medical examination for
the primary stage to measure the disability ratio among the children with
special needs; intensifying the special training courses for the unqualified
teachers to deal with the disabled students; providing, preparing and
monitoring the special merging classes of the disabled students; facilitating
the merging curricula; and providing psychologist and talkie specialist for the
merging classes.
