The Yemen Coalition for Education for All is an independent alliance, consisting of various civil organizations, teachers' unions and training centers. The coalition was established in accordance with the recommendations of the Sana'a conference of 2009, such that 57 educational civil society organizations and the teachers' unions participated in the establishment of the coalition. The coalition calls for access to free, compulsory and quality education, eradication of illiteracy among elders, reduction of child labor, limit children's school dropout, mobilization of the political and educational will and provide new resources to support education.

The Yemen coalition for education for all provides a common ground and a meeting point for civil society organizations to coordinate activities of education for all, in addition to networking with national and regional networks and international organizations to strengthen the coalition, promote its capacities and contribute to building a national, regional and international movements that guarantee in the long term the achievement of the millennium development goals for the year 2015, which is to provide education for all.
