GAW 2014 Activities in Jordan

Baituna Association, the member in the Jordan coalition for education for all, conducted number of activities on Democratic Empowerment and integration for people with hearing disabilities within the Global Action Week for Education in 2014.

A 3-day training program was conducted in Al Koura in Irbid city with participation of 44 young men and women with hearing disabilities. This workshop is significant as the trainers are experts people with hearing disabilities. The training included topic on human Rights and the International Convention for people with Disabilities. The 3^rd day of the training was a meeting with the parents who received awareness session on the abilities of their children and their role to engage them in their society
