Middle East network on innovative teaching and learning- MENIT held a seminar entitled " innovative pathways in Education: Adult Education for Social Change" on Tuesday 30 September 2014 in Amman- Jordan.
The seminar
mainly aimed at reviewing the successful innovative initiatives in the field of
adult education and lifelong learning in the region that have been composed by
one of MENIT's theme groups.
During the seminar, 4As members discussed the possibility of generalizing this successful initiatives meanwhile taking into account adapting its characteristics with the educational frameworks, with the presence and participation of senior officials from relevant ministries.
Furthermore, the initiatives coordinators took part in the seminar like the regional initiative to promote adult education that talked about the aims and results of these initiatives in addition to reviewing some success aspects of the initiatives and the learned lessons in adult education.
It is worth
mentioning that this seminar was held in cooperation with the German Association
for Adult Education, the Arab Campaign for education for all- ACEA, the Arab
Network for civic Education- ANHRE and Youth Educational Development YED.
