Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, and His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, the Yemeni Coalition launched a training workshop that aims to develop the capacity of the coalition members in projects' the management and preparation that is one of the most important skills that must be acquired by civil society organizations. The training workshop was held during the period December 27-28, 2014 including 33 participants representing civil society organization members of the coalition. The workshop was conducted in the presence of Dr. Abdullah El-Hamdy, Deputy Minister of Education, and Mr. Amin Jaman, Deputy Mayor, and Professor Hamid Mo'awada, the General Manager of Associations and Unions, in addition to of civil Society leaders.
Dr. Abdullah al-Hamidi, Deputy Minister of Education, emphasized at the opening of the workshop to the importance of training and rehabilitation in building the capacities developing the personal skills. He also emphasized on the importance of building effective partnership between the Ministry and civil society or ganizations for the advancement of the educational process.
Dr. Hamdi encouraged the participants to take advantage of this workshop organized by the Coalition for two days. He invited them to enrich their terminologies and ensure their application to practice.
Mr. Essam Olfie, The Secretary General of the Yemeni Coalition said that the workshop targeted 30 trainees from the member organizations and member unions in the coalition. He stressed that the coalition is seeking to provide participants the skills and knowledge on how to manage developmental projects as well as enhance their abilities in developing plans and reports on education .issues.
