Refat Sabbah Elected as a Vice Chair for the Board of the Global Campaign for Education

Johannesburg, Mr. Refat Sabbah, ACEA General Coordinator and the General Director of the Teacher Creativity Center, was elected as a Vice Chair for the Board of the Global Campaign for Education-GCE that includes 109 member coalitions from more than 100 countries with a global council that is elected  every four year where Mr. Sabbah previously was a member.

The Arab Campaign for Education for All-ACEA is one of the largest and most influential educational movements that created within the last fifteen years including members from non-governmental organization, teachers'' union, women and labors unions, as well as regional and international networks that works on education, disability, children, and youth, where ACEA works to guarantee that all children, youth, vulnerable, marginalized, and disadvantaged groups can access quality, free, and safe education.

The Arab Campaign for Education for All-ACEA is represented by Mr. Sabbah in the global council for the Global Campaign for Education and was created in 2008 within an initiative by the Teacher Creativity Center in Palestine. The Center initiated the creation of educational coalition through its regional and international contacts, and with the support of the Arab organizations and unions who contributed in creating this educational coalition that joint the Global Campaign for Education-GCE.

Currently, ACEA is represented by two members in GCE council. In addition of hundreds of organizations, unions, and networks that works in the field of education.  And Mr. Sabbah represents the Arab world in the Collective Consultation of NGOs on EFA that leads all consultation and communication around the world to develop a unified position for EFA goals
